Lore
Started for fun.
It began as a sticker chart. Turns out, there is something about shared suffering among colleagues that just works. You skip the queue for the lift, take the stairs, feel mildly betrayed by your own legs somewhere in the middle, then do the little ritual of logging it after. Somewhere along the way, you realise how much of office life is just waiting for lifts. Probably about six days of it, if you added it all up.
Stair Club is not a leaderboard, and it is not a fitness sermon. It is office banter, a bit of accountability, and one small reason to choose the stairs when the easier option is right there. Sticker chart or app, same idea: do the climb, log it, move on.
It works because it stays just social enough. A few names close by. A bit of rotation. Enough to keep the ritual alive, without turning the whole thing into a performance.
And if the lift is your thing, do you. No judgement.
